1. Deposits and Service Charges
Prices displayed on our website represent deposits towards the relevant courier, freight, transport, removal or delivery service unless expressly stated otherwise. The deposit forms part of the agreed service charge where specified in the quotation or booking confirmation.
Any outstanding balance must be paid in accordance with the agreed booking terms.
2. Cancellation Requests
Customers wishing to cancel a booking must email bookings@nurlinetransport.online, providing their name and booking reference.
Refund eligibility will be assessed according to the booking terms, the stage of service delivery, work already undertaken, costs properly incurred and applicable UK law.
Where a statutory cancellation right applies, nothing in this policy limits that right.
3. Refund Eligibility
A refund may be available where:
- A booking is cancelled in circumstances entitling the customer to a refund under the agreed terms or applicable law.
- We are unable to provide the agreed service and the circumstances entitle the customer to a refund.
- A payment has been made in error or an adjustment is otherwise due.
Where a service has already commenced or work has been undertaken, any amount payable or refundable will be assessed in accordance with the contract and applicable law.
Deposits are not automatically non-refundable. Any permitted deduction must have an appropriate contractual and legal basis.
4. Refund Processing Time
Once a refund has been approved, we aim to initiate it within 5–10 working days. Refunds will normally be returned using the original payment method where practicable.
The time taken for the funds to appear in the customer’s account may depend on the relevant financial institution.
Where a different statutory deadline applies, that deadline will take precedence.
5. Changes to Bookings
Requests to change collection dates, delivery addresses, routes or consignment details should be sent to us as soon as possible.
Changes are subject to agreement and may affect the service charge. Any additional charge or revised arrangement will be communicated before the amended service proceeds.
6. Services Commencing Within the Cancellation Period
For consumer bookings subject to a statutory cancellation period, customers who request that services begin before the period expires may be required to pay a proportionate amount for services performed, where permitted by law and where the relevant legal requirements have been met.
Any applicable right to cancel or receive a refund remains subject to the statutory rules governing the particular contract.
